Kevin M. McArdle plans to retire as principal law clerk for state Supreme Court Judge Charles C. Merrell after 11 years and will join attorneys Michael F. Young and Thomas A. Campany in what will now be called Campany, Young & McArdle PLLC. “I'm excited to join these excellent lawyers and good friends,” Mr. McArdle said in a release. “It is a great opportunity to get back into private practice.” Steven A. Smith, who has a private practice in Boonville and represents several area municipalities, will take over as law clerk for Judge Merrell, Mr. McArdle said.
